POST-NEWS KAMEN KOVACHEV Abstract During the last years increased the popularity of the word post-truth and in 2016 it was proclaimed as word of the year. Post-truth is mentioned mostly in the context of the so called fake news: a term that is frequently and incorrectly used more widely of its specific meaning of presenting false facts in media publications. There is another type of news that present true facts and events but cannot be defined as real news and these are the so called post-news. The paper introduces this term for the first time and also analyzes the consequences that the media environment saturated with post-news has over the audience.
